The 1941 Thunderbolt was Chrysler's response to the 1939 Buick Y-Job and was penned by
Alex Tremulis. The car features a revolutionary top
mechanism--a feature shared with the 1938 Peugeot Decapotable--in which
one switch completely stowed the top behind the seat in three
synchronized operations, now commonly known as "Coupe-Convertible" or CC.
